How to pack shoes for a trip to take up as little space as possible?

Vacations are a time for vacations and trips of all kinds. Whether we travel far or near, and whether we go by car, train or perhaps bet on a plane after all, we need to pack.

We are also often limited by the size and capacity of our luggage. Anyone who has had to pack at least once in hand luggage knows how difficult this task is. One of the key problems we have to face is packing shoes, which unfortunately usually take up a lot of space.

What kind of shoes to take on a trip?

Already at the very stage of planning and creating holiday styles, think about what shoes you will need. Do you necessarily need to take with you those high and heavy trappers or glans? And is it safe to pack only high-heeled shoes for the trip, which will indeed look beautiful in photos, but may not work during long hikes and mercilessly rub us?

When choosing footwear, be sure to bring only tried-and-true models that blend in with the clothes you are taking. Their quantity will also be key. Of course, don’t forget flip-flops or flip-flops for the shower or pool. They can also be a lifesaver when you have an accident, however, and end up with an imprint, abrasion or blister. Put the bulkiest and heaviest shoes on, and save extra space in your suitcase.

How to pack shoes – a few simple rules

When you’re packing a suitcase that must include shoes, it’s worth remembering a few simple rules about shoes that will make life easier and economize space. And here they are:

Don’t pack together

The worst thing you can do when packing is to put a pair of shoes (or, horror of horrors, all of them) in one bag or commercial bag. Doing so will really take up a lot of space, which you will, after all, need for clothes and toiletries. Better to put each shoe in a separate bag.

Proper protection

Shoes have it that dirt in the form of dust, sand or mud is often found on their soles. For this item of clothing, it is worth thinking about proper protection. For this purpose, material bags, string bags or ordinary commercial bags will come in handy. If you want to dispense with plastic bags to protect the soles, shower caps, which may be an unusual, but very practical choice, will also work well.

Find the right place

Packing your backpack or suitcase is always safest to start precisely with your shoes, which should be at the very bottom. Otherwise, they can crumple delicate clothes, for example. When choosing a suitcase, the best place for them will be a compartment with rails from the handle, between which you can easily put individual shoes.

Make use of every inch of space

Even if you pack your shoes in separate pouches, they still take up a lot of space, in addition, their interior shines empty, and you have to admit that especially in sports shoes we can find a lot of packing potential. If you want to make use of every free space, put socks or underwear inside, for example. You can also put in a rolled-up T-shirt or fabric shorts. This procedure, in addition to making use of every inch, will also protect us from deformation of footwear, such as stilettos or leather moccasins.
